Since you were younger they tried to teach you everything they know
It's not much but it's something that they're proud to show
The blind leading the uninformed
You have no choice
No choice
You might as well figure things out
Just because they're speaking doesn't mean
They know what's right
Just because they're speaking doesn't mean
They know what's right
It takes much more
Than someone else's train of thought to fully understand
Fuck your views
What do you know
Never left your house
Yet you've seen it all
Keep it to your self
Aggressive, intense, extreme music (punk, hardcore, metal) should be raw and bullshit free, stripped of self-indulgent "mood setting" riffs and arrangements to produce its effect. PUNCH and "They Don't Have to Believe" is a paradigm of this ethos 'par excellence' as they say. _teeth
New York hardcore meets classic thrash metal meets Jane's Addiction-esque alternative on the Brooklyn crushers' sensational debut. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 13, 2023
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
